The NBA has lost their “Logo.” Legend Jerry West passed away Wednesday morning at the age of 86. The player, coach and executive played at WVU from 1958-60 before playing 14 years with the Lakers, beginning when the team was in Minneapolis. He then became the Lakers coach for three years before moving into front office work, building the Lakers team as well as the Grizzlies and the Clippers. Jerry West remains the player featured on the NBA logo.
