Congressman Riley M. Moore released a statement following the swearing-in ceremonies for President Donald J. Trump in the Capitol Rotunda this afternoon:

“It's a new day in America. Today’s inaugural ceremony was incredibly moving – I left truly inspired. The inauguration of President Trump as our 47th Commander in Chief ushers in a new era, what I believe will be a Golden Age for America, her people, and our way of life.

“President Trump ran on securing the border, unleashing American energy, rebuilding the American economy, and on putting an end to the woke nonsense that permeated throughout our culture for the last four years. In turn, the American people said absolutely yes, giving us a mandate to execute on that mission. To that end, President Trump will immediately deliver on that America First Agenda with several major executive actions covering all of these issues.

“The Great American Comeback is officially underway, and I am committed to helping President Trump deliver on these promises to the American people.”
