The Maryland Department of Transportation State Highway Administration will detour traffic on I-70 at US 522 in Hancock on Monday, November 18 through Wednesday, November 20 nightly, weather permitting. Drivers can expect temporary closures and detours each evening beginning at 5 p.m. to 5 a.m. each morning. The work is part of the US 522 bridge over I-70 replacement project. The entire project is expected to be completed by fall 2025, weather permitting.
