A Catonsville woman is facing 18 years in prison for her plans to wipe out the Baltimore region’s power grid. Sara Beth Clendaniel was found guilty of conspiring with her boyfriend to destroy five power substations in furtherance of her white supremacist ideology that believes violent action is necessary to precipitate societal and government collapse. The sentence also includes lifetime supervision post-release.
