Though it has never been officially open to public access, Wills Mountain State Park is now posting signage to deter people from using the land. The Maryland Department of Resources has recently purchased the Artmor Plastics property and now the DNR wants to work on creating an access point for users and evaluate the parkland that encompasses over 500 acres. DNR officials hope that the Artmor property will now give them the area to create access for those wanting to use the park that was established in 1998.
