West Virginia Wins Part of Talc Settlement

West Virginia Attorney General Patrick Morrisey and a coalition of 42 attorneys general reached a $700 million settlement to resolve allegations related to the marketing of Johnson & Johnson’s baby powder and body powder products that contained talc. West Virginia will receive almost $6 million dollars. The lawsuit contends that the company misled consumers about the safety and purity of some of its talc powder products.
