Gov. Jim Justice announced Monday that he will call a special session for Sept. 30 for lawmakers to consider tax cuts and support for childcare. Justice’s second term as governor ends in a few months as he runs for the U.S. Senate seat currently held by Joe Manchin, who decided not to seek reelection.
