Washington Commanders Fire Content VP

September 5th, 2024 by WCBC Radio

ESPN is reporting today that the Washington Commanders football organization have fired an employee after a video surfaced where he commented on players being homophobic, accused Cowboys owner Jerry Jones of being racist and called NFL commissioner Roger Goodell a "$50 million puppet."  He also made comments about Commanders fans.

Rael Enteen has been Washington's vice president of content for  four years. The team on Thursday confirmed the firing via a spokesperson but had no other comment on the matter.  "The language used in the video runs counter to our values at the Commanders organization," a Commanders spokesperson said in the initial statement.

The Commanders suspended Enteen on Wednesday, after the video from the O'Keefe Media Group was played on social media.  According to the video, Enteen had met a woman on the dating app Hinge, but she turned out to be working undercover for the media group.
