Warrants Served

On March 19th, 2025 the Cumberland Police Department served several bench warrants on Ryan Andrew Roach. The bench warrants were issued after Roach failed to appear for court on March 5th, 2025 for original charges of theft and conspiracy to commit theft. In addition to the bench warrants, Roach was served two arrest warrants for charges of theft less than $100.00 and unlawful taking of a motor vehicle. Roach was transported to central booking where he later appeared before a District Court Commissioner and held on $500.00 for each warrant.

On Thursday, February 27th, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department arrested Jason Kelly Stottlemyer, 48, of Cumberland MD. Stottlemyer was arrested on three active Bench Warrants issued by the Allegany County District Court on February 26th, 2024. The warrants allege Stottlemyer failed to appear in court on that date for three separate cases where he was charged with CDS possession and theft. He was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance where he was released on a total of $3,000 in unsecured personal bonds.

On Thursday, February 27th, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department arrested Darren Michael Shambaugh, 52, of Paw Paw WV. Shambaugh was arrested on an active Arrest Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court for an incident that occurred on August 3rd, 2022, in the area of Little Orleans MD. During that incident, it is alleged that Shambaugh struck a camper belonging to another person, causing damage. Shambaugh then left the scene without attempting to contact the owner or the police. Shambaugh was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance where he was released on his own recognizance.

On Thursday, February 27th, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department arrested Jason Lynn Winfield, 42, of Cumberland MD. Winfield was arrested on an active Bench Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court on February 26th, 2024. The warrant alleges Winfield failed to appear in court on that date for a previous theft charge. He was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance where he was released on his own recognizance.
