Andrea Dawn Bever, 40 of Westernport, was arrested on a Fredrick County District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for the charge of CDS: Possession-Not Cannabis. The Allegany County Combined Warrant Unit located Bever at a residence on Creek Side Road in Westernport, where she was placed under arrest without incident. Bever was later released on a $2,500 unsecured personal bond. Bever was also found to be in possession of suspected Fentanyl and Methamphetamine. Charges were filled through District Court, and an Arrest Warrant was issued for Bever charging her with 2 counts of CDS: Possession With Intent to Distribute Narcotics, 2 counts of CDS: Possession-Not Cannabis and 2 counts of CDS: Possession-Paraphernalia. The Arrest Warrant for Bever was served on 07/16/24 and is being held on a $7,500 bond.
Matthew Christopher Snyder, 39 of Westernport, was also located at the same residence as Bever and placed under arrest on a District Court Bench Warrant for Failure to Appear for the original charge of CDS: Possession – Not Cannabis. A search of Snyder revealed he had suspected Fentanyl and Methamphetamine in his possession and an on-view arrest was made to subsequently charge Snyder with 2 new counts of CDS: Possession-Not Cannabis. He was then released on his own recognizance.

Shelly Marie Davis, 33 of Frostburg, was served a Circuit Court Bench Warrant for Violation of Probation. Davis was originally convicted of: Neglect of Minor and given a 2-year suspended jail term with 3-years supervised probation. She is currently being held without bond at the Allegany County Detention Center.
