Thursday, August 1, 2024 Dakota Lee Castro, 21 of Frostburg, was served a District Court Arrest Warrant for Malicious Destruction of Property / Value less than $1,000. Castro was released on a $2,000 unsecured personal bond from Central Booking at the Allegany County Detention Center.
Jason Scott Morris, 26 of Westernport, was served three (3) Circuit Court Bench Warrants for Failure to Comply – Violations of Pretrial Release. • Case 1 charges include – Felony Motor Vehicle Unlawful Taking, Felony Theft: $1,500 to Under $25,000, Malicious Destruction of Property Value over $1,000, Driving Vehicle Without Owner’s Consent with Intent to Deprive Owner, Taking Vehicle Without Owner’s Consent with Intent to Deprive Owner, Willfully (Damage, Tamper With) Motor Vehicle Without Owner’s Consent, Knowingly Driving Uninsured Vehicle, and Operating Unregistered Motor Vehicle. • Case 2 charges include – CDS: Possession and CDS: Possession – Not Cannabis • Case 3 charges include – Person Driving Motor Vehicle on Highway or Pubic Use Property on Suspended License and Privilege and Driving Motor Vehicle on Highway Without Required License and Authorization Morris is being held without bond at the Allegany County Detention Center until his next hearing in Circuit Court.
