Eric Douglas Fleek Jr., 43 of Cumberland, was served a Circuit Court warrant for Violation of Probation. Fleek was found guilty on 3/6/24 of felony Sex Offense Third Degree, and was sentenced to an 8-year jail term with all but 47-days suspended along with 5-years supervised probation. He is being held without bond at the Allegany County Detention Center.
Travis Wayne Brady, 44 of Cumberland, was served two (2) Circuit Court warrants – Violation of Pretrial Release where he has a bail review pending to account for the pending sentencing on a felony CDS: Possession With Intent to Distribute; Narcotics plea from January 28, 2025; and Violation of Probation where he has a bail review pending for the 2019 guilty plea when he was afforded Drug Court Participation on the charge of CDS: Possession Within Intent to Distribute: Narcotics that held a 15-year jail term with all but 12-years suspended and 3-years Supervised Probation; along with a Grand Jury Indictment for CDS: Possession With Intent to Distribute: Narcotics, CDS: Distribution – Narcotics and CDS: Possession-Not Cannabis. Brady is being held without bond at the Allegany County Detention Center.
Ernest Counsil III, 43 of Blackwood, NJ, (previously Rock Hill, SC) was served a Circuit Court Grand Jury Indictment for 3 counts of CDS: Possession With Intent to Distribute: Narcotics and 3 counts of CDS: Possession-Not Cannabis. Counsil is being held without bond at the Allegany County Detention Center pending a bail review.
Jaime Lauren Acosta, 30 of Brigantine, NJ, was served a Circuit Court Grand Jury Indictment for 3 counts of CDS: Possession With Intent to Distribute: Narcotics and 3 counts of CDS: Possession-Not Cannabis. Acosta is being held without bond at the Allegany County Detention Center pending a bail review.
Jesscia Nicole Gibbs, 33 of Cumberland, was served a Circuit Court bench warrant for Violation of Pre-Trial Release. She is facing 3 counts of CDS: Possession With Intent to Distribute: Narcotics and 3 counts of CDS: Possession-Not Cannabis. She was released under pretrial supervision of the Alternative Sentencing Division of the Sheriff’s Office where she failed to meet the conditions of her release. Gibbs is now being held without bond at the Allegany County Detention Center pending a bail review.
Jo Lynn Crites, 36 of Cumberland, was arrested on a Circuit Court bench warrant for Failure to Appear (FTA). On 02/24/25, the Allegany County Combined Warrant Unit responded to Jane Frazier Village Apartments to attempt to serve an FTA warrant on Jo Lynn Crites. Crites fled on foot from Jane Frazier Village and was apprehended by the Warrant Unit in the 400 Block of South Street while Allegany County Sheriff's Office Patrol deputies assisted.

On Monday, October 28th, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department arrested Briauna Dawn Barnard, 31, of Cumberland MD. Barnard was arrested on an active Arrest Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court for an incident that occurred on May 4th, 2024. During that incident, it is alleged that officers located her vehicle broken down and abandoned on the side of the road near Rt 220 and Interstate 68. At the time, the vehicle was found to have suspended registration and no insurance. Barnard was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance where she was released on her own recognizance. At the time of her arrest, Barnard was also found to be in possession of an amount of suspected fentanyl. She was issued a Criminal Citation for the offense, pending trial in District Court.

On Monday, October 28th, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department arrested Shyanna Blair Wigfield, 24, of Cumberland MD. Wigfield was arrested on an active Bench Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court on October 25th, 2024. The warrant alleges Wigfield violated the terms and conditions of her probation that stemmed from a previous conviction on theft charges. Wigfield was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance where she was remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center. She Is currently being held on $1,000 bond.

On Monday, October 28th, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department responded to the 400 block of Pulaski St for the report of a violation of a Peace Order. Upon arrival, officers spoke to the complainants who advised they have active Peace Orders against a neighbor due to ongoing issues. They then advised that the neighbor yelled at them on this date from across the street, violating the order. Officers then contacted the neighbor, Lisa Flor Breiterman, 46, who admitted to yelling at the neighbor, violating the order. As a result, Breiterman was placed under arrest and transported to Central Booking. She was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance where she was released on her own recognizance.
