On Wednesday, March 19, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department served a bench warrant on Jacob Baker. The warrant was issued due to Baker failing to appear in District Court for a trespassing charge. Baker was transported to the Allegany County Detention Center. Baker received an initial appearance by a District Court Commissioner, where he was released on his personal recognizance.
Arrest: Jacob Allen Baker, Age 36, Cumberland, Maryland.
Charge: Trespass Posted Property (Failure to Appear)

Julie Crystal Carbaugh, 43 of Lonaconing, was arrested on a Circuit Court Bench Warrant. Original charges in this case include felony Child Abuse: 2nd Degree-Custodian where Carbaugh entered a “Guilty Plea” and is awaiting sentencing and “Other Plea” was entered for charges including Child Abuse: 1st Degree: Course of Conduct-Custodian, Reckless Endangerment, CDS Distribution-Narcotics, CDS: Possession-Not Cannabis, and CDS Administration Equipment Possession / Distribution. Carbaugh is being held without bond pending a bail review in Circuit Court.
