Walk-In Vaccine Clinic at Barton Business Park

On Wednesday, April 21, ACHD has reserved time for walk-in vaccinations for COVID-19 at the Barton Business Park shell building (the large building beside American Woodmark) at 17300 Barton Park Drive in Rawlings, MD.   On that date, from 10 a.m. to noon and also from 1 to 3 p.m. Allegany County adults can get their vaccine without an appointment.  The vaccine being provided will be the Moderna vaccine.  Walk-ins will only be taken during those time periods on April 21.  For those who can’t come to the clinic on Wednesday, you can still sign up to be contacted for an appointment using the Vaccine Interest Form at health.maryland.gov/allegany.

 

Driving Directions to the Barton Business Park Shell Building:

 

  • From Cumberland, follow US Route 220 south through Cresaptown and Bel Air.  Turn left onto MD Route 956 and then take the first right onto Barton Park Drive.  The shell building will be the first building on the left, approximately three-quarters of a mile from 956.

 

  • From McCoole, follow US Route 220 north to Rawlings and turn right onto Barton Park Drive.  Follow the road past American Woodmark.  The shell building will be on your right.

 

The Allegany County Health Department reports that 21,357 Allegany County residents have received their first dose of a two-dose vaccine against COVID-19 (30.3% of the population), with 14,533 of those individuals now fully vaccinated with their second dose (20.6 % of the population).  Additionally, 2,110 Allegany County residents have received the single dose Janssen (Johnson & Johnson) vaccine (3.0 %).

 

By comparison, the state reported that 38.3% of all Marylanders had received their first dose of a two-dose vaccine, with 23.8% having had both doses and an additional 3.0% vaccinated with the single dose vaccine.
