Victims of Crime Act Funds Awarded by Governor Justice

Burlington United Methodist Family Services and CASA of Mineral County are among 82 agencies in West Virginia receiving funds through the Victims of Crime Act. Over $16 million dollars will provide services for counseling, transportation, and support for victims of domestic or sexual violence, child abuse, and elder abuse. Governor Justice said a portion of the funding came through U.S. Department of Justice while other funding was provided through the state.
