Upon arrival, Deputies located two vehicles with both drivers trapped inside. The male individual was identified as Zachary Micheal Robinson, 35, of Rawlings, Maryland and the female was identified as Laura Michelle Wilson, 41, of Rawlings, Maryland.
Though life saving efforts were attempted by both law enforcement and emergency personnel, both Robinson, and Wilson succumbed to their injuries sustained in the collision.
The collision investigation was transferred from the initial responding deputies, to members of the Allegany County Sheriff’s Crash Team. Additionally, members of the Cumberland City Police Crash Team, and Mountain Maryland Search and Rescue drone pilots are assisting in the investigation.
