Governor Wes Moore has made $2.2 million dollars available for supporting small, minority, and veteran-owned businesses to make Maryland more competitive. Funding includes loans and equity investments from the Military Personnel and Veteran-Owned Small Business Loan Program and the Maryland Small Business Development Authority. The money will help businesses create and retain jobs across the state, including 206 Alder, a new veteran-owned restaurant in the Oakland historic district in Garrett County.
