US Senator Chris Van Hollen announced the Senate Appropriations Committee announced passage of the Fiscal Year 2025 Financial Services and General Government Appropriations Act. The legislation provides over $25 billion in funds, including operational funding for the Treasury Department, the federal judiciary, and the Small Business Administration. The bill includes $48 million in defense spending, as well as $375 million for the construction of the new FBI Headquarters in Greenbelt, Maryland.
