Traffic is being rerouted to avoid the scene of what is being termed a serious motof vehicle collision on Maryland Route 135 on Backbone Mountain in Garrett County.

Westbound vehicles are being detoured at Savage River Road and through Big Run State Park.  A firefighter said that the road may be closed for several hours.
