We continue to be in brush fire season, as a number of Allegany County units were dispatched to Beans Cove Road, in southern Bedford County,Saturday afternoon to help battle a large brush fire there.

There will continue to be a danger of such fires for the next few weeks until trees and bushes start to green up during early spring.
