A quick check-in on Tuesday with Union President for the International Association of Firefighters, Steve Corioni revealed that there is still nothing for the union to vote on from Allegany County. Corioni said they are waiting on information from the county attorney so a vote can be taken. The county and Emergency Medical Services are working to come to an agreement that would save a $2 million dollar cut to EMS funding in the county budget for fiscal year 2025.
