On February 3 members of the Allegany County Narcotics Task Force, with the assistance of the Cumberland City Police Department, Allegany County Sheriff’s Office, and Maryland State Police S.T.A.T.E., executed a search and seizure warrant in the 300 block of Race Street, Cumberland, MD. Entry into the residence was made by Cumberland City Police CERT.
Members of the Allegany County Narcotics Task Force were investigating the distribution and sales of crack cocaine in the Allegany County area. During the subsequent search, Allegany County Narcotics Task Force investigators located large amounts of crack cocaine, oxycodone, alprazolam, suboxone, CDS packing materials, and U.S. currency.
As a result of the search, Joshua Ian Cline, 44, of Cumberland, was charged with the following:
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine
- Possession of Crack Cocaine
Damian Joshua Cline, 22, of Cumberland, was charged with the following:
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Crack Cocaine
- Possession of Crack Cocaine
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Oxycodone
- Possession of Oxycodone
- Possession with Intent to Distribute Alprazolam
- Possession of Alprazolam
- Possession of Suboxone
Both Joshua and Damian Cline were taken to a District Court Commissioner where they were held without bail. The investigation is ongoing.
