On Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at approximately 6:58 PM, officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to a residence in the 500 block of E. Oldtown Rd. for a fight in progress.  Police contacted an alleged victim who reported that he was assaulted by Ron Claggett Jr.  Officers observed that the victim had sustained injuries from the altercation.  Claggett was located on Grand Avenue, placed under arrest and transported to Central Booking.  He was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and remanded to the Allegany County Detention Center without bond.

CHARGES:  Assault-First Degree, Assault-Second Degree, Disorderly Conduct

 

On Wednesday, October 30, 2024 at approximately 9:46 PM, officers of the Cumberland Police Department responded to a residence in the 500 block of E. Oldtown Rd. for an assault.  Police contacted an alleged victim who reported that he was assaulted by Breanna Johnson.  Officers observed that the victim had sustained injuries from the assault.  Johnson was placed under arrest and transported to Central Booking.  She was later seen by a District Court Commissioner and released on her personal recognizance.
