On Monday, December 30, 2024, Officers of the Cumberland Police Department were conducting a routine foot patrol in the Western Maryland Scene Railroad area when they observed a male sleeping in a posted no-trespassing area. Officers then arrested the male, who was later identified as David McMillan. A search of McMillian's person yielded a controlled dangerous substance and paraphernalia. McMillian was issued multiple criminal citations and released pending his trial at Allegany County District Court.

Arrest: David Richard McMillan, Age 33, Cumberland, Maryland.
Charge: Trespassing Posted Property, Possession CDS x2, Possession CDS Paraphernalia.
