On Monday, February 27, 2023 at approximately 10:02 AM, an officer of the Cumberland Police Department conducted a traffic stop on Queen City Drive.  A Cumberland Police Department K-9 was requested.  A search was conducted and the occupants, Alana Reeves and Kevin Hewlin, were found to be in possession of a controlled dangerous substance.  Reeves was also in possession of CDS paraphernalia.  Reeves and Hewlin were arrested and transported to police headquarters.  They were issued criminal citations and released pending trial.
