On Friday, March 3, 2023 at approximately 11:36 PM, an officer of the Cumberland Police Department conducted a traffic stop on W. Industrial Boulevard.  A Cumberland Police Department K-9 was utilized resulting in a positive alert.  A search of the vehicle was conducted and the operator, Irving Fletcher Jr, was found to be in possession of a controlled dangerous substance.  Fletcher was issued a criminal citation and released pending trial.
