Frostburg’s Main Street was closed Friday afternoon near Broadway as authorities investigated an accident involving a suspected runaway tractor-trailer. The accident occurred at approximately 2:45 p.m. with the truck apparently striking at least two vehicles as it traveled from the west and descended Main Street through town. The truck came to a stop near the Route 40/36 intersection. The driver wasn't injured and EMS reports no one was transported from the scene.
