As part of Maryland Severe Storms Awareness Week, Maryland’s Department of Emergency Management will be conducting a tornado drill.  Residents with NOAA weather radios may receive a message preceded by an Emergency Alert system code. Schools, businesses, and families can practice what to do when a tornado warning is issued including finding safe shelter, staying away from windows, and watching for flying debris.
