Centrally located at the corner of Baltimore and Mechanic streets- the Cumberland Times News building and adjacent parking lot is viewed as an ideal spot for future development. It is a site that the Cumberland Economic Development Corporation has had on its radar- although no recent proposals have been discussed publicly. The newspaper moved its printing operation to Johnstown in 2018- and last year cut back publishing from 7 to 5 days.
