Additionally, more than 100 area high school students and parents attended this year’s event.

Four high school students attending the event were the recipients of various scholarships totaling $2,200.  Sophia Sensabaugh, a senior at Fort Hill High School, and Tate Humbertson, a senior at the Career Center, were the winners of $750 scholarships. Sophia’s scholarship is for her to attend Allegany College of Maryland, and Tate’s scholarship can be applied to the college or university of his choice. Sara LaBuda, a junior at Allegany High School, and Kaitlin Allen, a junior at Northern Garrett High School, were both the recipients of $350 scholarships to the college or university of their choice.
