An offer has been made to the six Allegany County EMS who were let go. During the State of the County held Tuesday morning at the Allegany College, Allegany County’s County Administrator, Jason Bennett, said each of the six EMS has been made an offer…
“We actually just formally made an offer back to all six to bring them back on. We’ve had some other attrition at EMS. We have had some other people leave, and we have found sort of a way to balance out our overtime. So, we have made the offer to those folks to bring them back. We haven’t announced it yet because we don’t know how many are going to take it. They have all been working in a part-time capacity since then—with us. So, I think—if all goes well—they will all be back.”
