The Western Maryland Scenic Railroad is wrapping up the Sunset On the Mountain rides for the season with the final ride happening on Saturday. Wes Heinz, Executive Director for the railroad, says the final trip will include local entertainment for passengers. Heinz also hinted possible good news on steam engine 1309…
“We are going to have Chris Blaney who is a local young man who’s been singing country and rock and roll all around the Tri-State area for some time now. He’s fantastic and he’ll be closing our season on November 2. We are anticipating – knock on wood – that 1309 will be on that train.”
