On September 2, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department served a Summons on Tara Athey. The summons was issued after Officers were Called to a Local Business on Queen City Drive. Upon arrival Officers were provided photographs of the suspect. Officers were able to positively Identify the suspect as Tara Athey.
On September 2, 2024, the Cumberland Police Department served a Summons on Austin Michael Lease. The original incident occurred August 27, 2024. Officers were advised by the victim, that her ex-boyfriend will not stop texting her. The victim stated that she has blocked Lease on all social media. The victim was advised of her rights at District Court.
