Four Allegany County high school students attending Tri-State College Night at Allegany College of Maryland won scholarships totaling $2,200. Gavin Clayton of Mountain Ridge High School and Brock Dunnington of Bishop Walsh School were the winners of $750 scholarships. Gavin’s scholarship is for Allegany College of Maryland, and Brock’s scholarship can be applied to the college or university of his choice. Chloe Haggerty, a junior at Mountain Ridge High School, and Colten Gary, a junior at Allegany High School, were both the recipients of $350 scholarships to the college or university of their choice.
