Head Coach Mike Tomlin confirmed Wednesday that Russell Wilson will be the starting quarterback on September 8 when the Steelers open the season in Atlanta. Some observers believed the Steelers would opt for former Chicago QB Justin Fields but Tomlin said Fields will back up Wilson to start the season.
