The Maryland Department of Commerce has a new memorandum of understanding with NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, which also operates the Wallops Flight Facility on the Eastern Shore.
The three-year agreement will support the aerospace economy in the state. With the MOU, the state and NASA will collaborate to promote STEM education, industry development, and awareness of resources such as small business research and technology funding. NASA and the state will co-host outreach events to foster innovation and education.
