Governor Moore and the Maryland Department of Labor have announced new programs coinciding with National Apprenticeship Week. The Public Sector Registered Apprenticeship Program is a $3million initiative to create opportunities within state and local governments and provide career pathways and retention strategies.  The Maryland Hospitality Management Apprenticeship Program will create a pipeline to an associate’s degree through one of six community colleges. The programs are supported through a grant from the US Department of Labor.
