State Budget Woes Could Increase

The month of March may be coming in like a lion for the Maryland General Assembly. Now half way through their session, the legislature is still grappling with how to overcome a budget deficit.  House Minority Leader Jason Buckel said reports coming out soon may add insult to injury as far as state revenues…

   

“There may be what they call “revenue right-bounds” or changes in the estimates of what our revenues are going to come in. Some of that is because of federal government adjustments and some of it is for quite a long time our private sector economy in Maryland just isn’t doing that great.”
