Merje Design from West Chester, Pennsylvania met with local business owners, developers and officials to discuss the City of Cumberland’s Wayfinding Project – a new signage system to improve getting around the area. Merje representatives presented their ideas and gathered input to revamp the City’s current signage layout. John Bosio of Merje explained the goal is to make getting around simple for first time visitors…
“You get off those exit ramps and you hit those one-way streets and you have to go circle around. We have to make this really simple for people and not overwhelm them with six listings and copy that you can’t read and verbiage that is too long. We have to really get this down.”
