Sports Book Revenue Boosts Blueprint Fund

With the kickoff of the 2024 football season in September, Maryland’s sports wagering market had its most successful month since its start in December of 2021.  Gamers placed almost $533 million dollars in wagers in September through retail and mobile sports books in the state. That brought nearly triple the tax revenue than the previous September – a total of $9.4 million dollars. The Blueprint for Maryland’s Future Fund has reached over $109 million dollars through the tax revenue.
