Preparations are underway for the annual South Cumberland Halloween Parade on October 30th. WCBC News spoke with Parade Co-chair Sean Thomas. Thomas said that the parade will get started with the annual “Mummer’s Contest” at 5:30.
“The parade is going to be on Wednesday evening, October the 30th. It starts off around 5:30pm at Smith Park. We will have our annual mummer’s contest so that’s open to any kids age 12 and under in the area – doesn’t have to be just Cumberland it can be the Tri-State area, in-town, out of town, whatever.”
