Pittsburgh Pirates rookie pitching sensation Paul Skenes will make his Major League debut on Saturday, as the Pirates host the Cubs at 4:05 pm.  Skenes was the number one draft choice for the Pirates in 2023, previously pitching at the Air Force Academy and LSU.  Starting this season at AAA Indianapolis, Skenes has a 0.99 ERA with 45 strikeouts in 27 1/3 innings of work.
