The Silver Palace, a dome car from the California Zephyr will be passing through Cumberland today behind Amtrak's Capital Limited. Silver Palace car will join the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad fleet but first must make its trip to Washington DC where CSX will Freight rail it back to Cumberland. Wes Heinz, Executive Director of the Western Maryland Scenic Railroad spoke with WCBC news about the rail car features including a bar under the Dome, expanded seating and a better experience for entertainment.
