Russell Leroy Michaels, 42 of Lonaconing, was charged as a Fugitive from Justice for a warrant out of Fayette County Pennsylvania. Michaels is facing charges including: Int Possess Controlled Substance by Person Not Reg, Use/Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, non-PA Vehicle Not Registered, Driving Without a License, and Driving Under Influence of Alcohol/Controlled Substance. He is being held at the Allegany County Detention Center pending extradition to Pennsylvania.
Raymond Melroy Thrasher III, 34 of Cumberland and unhoused, was arrested on two (2) Circuit Court Bench Warrants for Violation of Probation. His original conviction was for Burglary-2nd Degree/General where Thrasher received a 5-year jail term with all but 18-months suspended along with 5-years supervised probation and was ordered to pay $3,462.35 and $408 in restitution. Thrasher is being held without bond pending a bail review in Circuit Court for each case.
Scharma Louise Boswell, 57 of Bolivia, North Carolina and unhoused, was arrested on a Circuit Court Bench Warrant for Violation of Probation. Boswell’s original conviction was Driving Vehicle While So Far Impaired by Drugs Cannot Drive Safely where she was sentenced to a 2-year jail term with all but 6-months suspended and 3-years Supervised Probation. Boswell is being held at the Allegany County Detention Center pending a bail review in Circuit Court.
