Hopefully you've removed that snow and ice from your vehicle before it froze overnight. Many young drivers leave that large pile of snow on top of their vehicle as a badge of honor, but it becomes very dangerous when you're traveling down the road and it slides off hitting another vehicle. WCBC news spoke with Charley Gischlar with Maryland Department of Transportation about clearing off your vehicle not just the windows areas so that it doesn't become an icy projectile while driving down the highway, Also make sure your vehicle's road ready with good tread on tires, fluids and that your turn signals and lights function properly.
