The City of Cumberland Engineering Department, on behalf of Potomac Edison, would like to notify the public that Mechanic Street between Pershing Street and Harrison Street will be closed between 7:00 AM and 1:00 PM on Thursday, 8/22/24.
Signage will be in place to detour passenger vehicles around the road closure. Trucks will be detoured to Queen City Drive to avoid the closure.
Traffic is expected to be fully restored after work is completed at 1:00 PM.
Additional information will be released in the event the operation needs to be extended.
