The Allegany County Board of Education voted unanimously Tuesday evening to contract with the Maryland Association of Boards of Education for assistance in the search for a new county school superintendent. MABE will support the search including ad placements nationwide, background checks, and other required steps.  Board member Max Green said other Maryland counties are also beginning superintendent searches, but believes Allegany County can draw someone well suited for the area…
