***Adult Arrest***
On Friday, February 21st, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department arrested Cherokee Dawn Logsdon, 30, of Cumberland MD. Logsdon was arrested on an active Bench Warrant issued by the Allegany County District Court on February 20th, 2025. The warrant alleges Logsdon failed to appear in court on that date for a previous charge of driving without a license. She was taken before a District Court Commissioner for an Initial Appearance where she was released on her own recognizance.

On Friday, February 21st, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department served a Criminal Summons on Amber Lynn James, 41, of Cumberland MD. The summons was in reference to a series of incidents that occurred in August and September of 2024. During these incidents, it is alleged that James, along with another suspect, forged multiple checks and cashed them at a local business. James, along with her accomplice, was able to obtain funds in excess of $12,000 fraudulently. On this date, James was served the summons and released, pending trial in District Court.

***Adult Arrest***
On Friday, February 21st, 2025, the Cumberland Police Department served a Criminal Summons on Brian Adam Fisher, 35, of Cumberland MD. The summons was in reference to an incident that occurred on February 19th, 2025, at a residence in the 200 block of Park St. During this incident, it is alleged that Fisher came to the home to harass a female subject. After creating a large disturbance, Fisher then assaulted another subject before leaving the scene. On this date, Fisher was served the summons and released, pending trial in District Court.
