Allegany County Emergency Services responding to a Two Alarm residential house fire on West 1st Street in Cumberland last night. Initial firefighters responding finding two homes involved with a possible entrapment. Fire crews continued to battle the original call as two neighboring homes caught fire. Mutual Aid fire crews from the surrounding area required the closing of Virginia Avenue for an hour for staging. No report of any serious injuries. The Fire Marshal is investigating the cause of the fires.
