Rawling Fire Injures One Firefighter

A fire in Rawlings Monday morning resulted in one firefighter being transported to UPMC for non life threatening injuries.  The 9:15 a.m. blaze took place on Jared Court in Rawlings.  The fire caused $40,000 in damage to the mobile home on the lot and destroyed $35,000 in property.  The mobile home was occupied by Matthew Fields, who discovered the blaze, which began in the living room with an electrical malfunction.  The smoke alarm was activated.  Fifty firefighters from Cresaptown responded and put out the blaze in 15 minutes.
